Description
Plot Summary
In July 1988, a new type of bomb was used to detonate in the Kanto region, and World War III immediately broke out. 31 years later, humans rebuilt the city from ruins and established a huge city on Tokyo Bay - New Tokyo. The world seems to be returning to its former prosperity. On a night in 2019, on a closed highway in the outskirts of New Tokyo, a group of yakuza were racing on the road. The leading young man is a vocational high school student named Kaneda. Suddenly, a strange short man appeared on the street, and the berserk teenager Tie Xiong flew off the road with his car and people to avoid a car accident. Just as Kaneda was about to interrogate the man, the military helicopter pilot felt. Take the short man and Tie Xiong into custody together. Tie Xiong entered a strange place where he seemed to be conducting research on superpowers. And Kaneda is planning how to rescue Tetsuo. Neither of them knew that their future had already begun a huge transformation due to the mysterious force - Akira.
