Description
Plot Summary
Max (played by Robert De Niro) is charged with rape and hires lawyer Sam (played by Nick Nolte) to defend himself; What he didn't know was that Sam was a feminist. Out of righteous indignation, Sam deliberately concealed evidence in favor of Max in his defense, which ultimately led to Max being sentenced to an extra six years. Max, who originally didn't understand the law, discovered Sam's betrayal through self-study of the law in prison and vowed to seek revenge against Sam. 14 years have passed in a blink of an eye, and Max has been released from prison, embarking on his revenge plan.
