Plot Summary

In Paris, the capital of art, several impoverished artists live in low-end residential areas. They are oil painters from Albania, composers from Ireland, and a French playwright. Nevertheless, they still live optimistically, crave love, help each other, and work tenaciously. The opportunity finally beckoned to them, and the appearance of Mimi, a girl from another province, brought subtle changes to the lives of the three of them. The painter fell in love with her, and soon after, he was expelled for illegal entry. Good times took a long time, but with the help of his good friends, he returned to Paris to become a freelance artist. Not only did he have a turning point in his career, but he also won Mimi's love.
