Description
Plot Summary
Kansas farmer William (Clint Eastwood) was once a famous assassin and robber when he was young, but his life began to completely change when he met Claudia. After William and Claudia got married and had children, they gave up and lived a happy life as a family. The good times didn't last long. Claudia passed away soon, and William lived a simple and peaceful life independently with his two children. At this time, a vicious incident occurred in the area where a cowboy was drunk and beat a prostitute, disfigured her. The villainous Sheriff Daggart (Gene Hackman) only hastily concluded the matter, and the perpetrator remained at large. Local prostitutes have donated money and demanded a bonus of $1000 to hire assassins to uphold justice. The 'Scofield Kid' approached William and requested to collaborate on this transaction.
