Plot Summary

At the end of the Qing Dynasty, officials were corrupt and the people were struggling. In Zhejiang, there was a masked knight named "Iron Monkey" who had robbed the rich and helped the poor for two years, causing successive governors who sold their official titles to complain endlessly. The identity of Iron Monkey during the day is Doctor Yang Tianchun (played by Yu Rongguang), who is skilled and kind-hearted, and deeply loved by his neighbors. The governor spared no effort in torturing numerous unrelated people in order to capture Iron Monkey. Huang Qiying (played by Donnie Yen) and his son Huang Feihong, who were passing through this area, accidentally got involved. The governor saw Huang Qiying's extraordinary skills and detained Feihong, threatening him to capture Latte Monkey. After Huang Qiying fought Iron Monkey, he sympathized with him. Not long after, the imperial envoy arrived in Zhejiang and heard of the Iron Monkey's "rebellion". He used his powerful Diamond Palm to injure him. It turned out that the true identity of this envoy was Yan Kong (played by Ren Shiguan), a traitor to Shaolin. As a disciple of Shaolin, Huang Qiying, together with the Iron Monkey, swore to clean up the door for Shaolin.
