Plot Summary

Caso (played by Johnny Depp) is obsessed with collecting rare and bizarre books. This talent greatly appreciated the wealthy Balkan (played by Frank Langella). He assigned Caso a daunting task - to search for an ancient book called 'The Ninth Door' and verify the authenticity of the one in his hand. There are only three copies of this book left in the world, and the remaining two have been lost to Portugal and France respectively. Legend has it that by reading this book, one can summon the arrival of the devil. Caso embarked on a tortuous and magical journey of search. He visited the wife of the original owner of the book, an expert in ancient book restoration, and met a mysterious woman with green eyes. During this time, his friend's sudden death was exactly like the illustrations in the book, and the murders were still happening repeatedly. Originally, the spells mentioned in the book are likely to leave no one unscathed. And if the three books are combined, they will welcome the evil Satan. And ultimately, did the devil's face appear?
