Description
Plot Summary
When Greg (played by Ben Stiller) is preparing to propose to his long-time girlfriend Pamela (played by Teri Polo), he unexpectedly learns whether the proposal is successful or not. He not only has to pass the beauty test, but also the father-in-law test. Pamela's sister is going to have her wedding next week, and Greg will go home with Pamela to attend the wedding. The young man thought to himself that this was a great opportunity to please his future father-in-law and solve his problems. Greg's name is easily understood in American as "homosexual", and with such a peculiar name, it is destined that Greg's visit to his future father-in-law will not go as smoothly as he expected. Sure enough, when they arrived at Palmyra's house, although Greg appeared gentle and refined, his future father-in-law (played by Robert De Niro)'s face became increasingly unpleasant as he tried to be humorous when he always interjected.
