Plot Summary

Young people in Los Angeles are passionate about street racing, where as long as you have speed, you have everything. Newly recruited police officer Brian (played by Paul Walker) acts as an undercover agent to uncover the recent recurring cases of car robberies by motorcycle gangs, infiltrating the active motorcycle gang here to gather evidence in order to bring the criminals to justice. Brian quickly won the admiration and trust of the leader of the racing party, Dominic (Vin Diesel), with his superb driving skills, and soon fell in love with Dominic's sister Mia (Jordana Brewster). However, Vince, the second in command of the Speed Party, was full of hostility towards Brian. It turned out that Vince had been secretly in love with Mia, and Brian's arrival threatened his position as the second in command. At this point, members of the Flying Car Party began to suspect that they were hiding spies inside, and Brian's life began to be difficult. And the longer he had contact with Dominic, the deeper their friendship became, and Brian began to find himself in a dilemma.
