Plot Summary

In the romantic, spectacular, and thought-provoking ancient Greece, the love hate legend between the Olympian gods and humans is still talked about, and among them, the Battle of Troy recorded in Homer's epic poem "Iliad" is a classic work repeatedly performed by later playwrights and viewers. When Trojan Prince Paris (played by Orlando Bloom) was invited to a banquet by the King of Sparta in Greece, he fell in love with the king's wife Helen (played by Diane Kruger). Her stunning appearance made him unable to control himself, so he brought Helen back to his own country. This move sparked anger among the Greek states, and at the call of King Agamemnon of Mycenae (played by Brian Cox), a powerful coalition army marched towards Troy.
