Description
Plot Summary
In the near future, the drug epidemic has lost control, and a highly addictive illegal drug called "D pill" is rampant in the United States. Government authorities have to use high-tech surveillance systems to combat the situation that is out of control. Undercover drug investigator Fred (played by Keanu Reeves) goes by the alias Papout in an attempt to trace the source of drugs. As a result, he lives with drug dealer Donna Hawthorne (played by Winona Reeder), drug addict Jim Berris (played by Robert Downey Jr.), Ernie Rockman (played by Woody Harrison), Charles Fick (played by Rory Cochrane), and others. But in reality, Fred was also deeply attracted to the addiction of the 'D pill'. As his addiction deepens, he gradually blurs the line between reality and falsehood. Freyd, who has lost his sanity, constantly searches for the hiding place of the drug lord, unaware that he has been manipulated by the mastermind behind the scenes.
