Description
Plot Summary
Imagine you are a child in school with no friends, no one to play with, and bullied by bullies. How terrifying it is. The protagonist in the Warner Bros. animated series "Don't Mess with Ants" encountered this situation. The story is adapted from the children's novel of the same name by fairy tale writer John Nickel. It tells the story of Lucas, who has just moved and has no friends at school, and is bullied by his neighbor's bullies. He has to vent his anger on the ants and destroy their nest. Unexpectedly, the ants retaliate by using a magical shrinking gun to turn Lucas into the size of an ant and bring him back to the nest to live with them. Through this experience, Lucas learns tolerance and sympathy, the true meaning of friendship, and the appreciation and reverence for nature itself.
