Description
Plot Summary
The father of Roman Prince Romulus (played by Thomas Sangster), Orestes (played by Iain Glen), was killed by rebels, while Romulus was imprisoned on the island of Capri by the enemy. Before his death, Orestes entrusted his affairs to General Aurelius (played by Colin Firth), urging him to rescue his son and restore the throne of the Roman Empire to his own sect. Aurelius, who was loyal to the emperor, joined forces with Ethiopian Batiatus (Nonso Anozie) and Ambrosinus (Ben Kingsley) to form an expeditionary suicide squad. Afterwards, the brave and skilled female warrior Maria (played by Aishwarya Rai) also joined the group and marched towards Capri Island. On Capri Island, Romulus and his mentor are also searching for the last glimmer of hope for survival.
