Plot Summary

This film depicts King Narathien as the most respected and great king among Thai people, and his deeds are widely legendary. From his birth in 1555 to the end of his rule in 1605. In the outstanding battle he fought in Supanburi in 1592, he killed a Burmese prince and broke free from Burmese rule. The Thai people built a 72 meter high pagoda in Ayutthaya to commemorate his great achievements. In the 16th century, the son of Maha Thammaracha, the king of Ayudhaya Kingdom, Naresuan, was captured as a hostage in Hongsawadee (now Myanmar) and grew up there. In 1571, Narayan returned to his homeland and, with his outstanding leadership skills, laid the new foundation for the Ayudhaya Kingdom. But Nandabayin, the new king of Hongsawadee in Hongsa Kingdom, is watching over Nari Xuan with covetous eyes and wants to get rid of him. In 1590, after the death of his father, King Narathien, he successfully ascended to the throne and declared the independence of the Ayudhaya Kingdom, declaring war on Hongsawadee.
