Description
Plot Summary
The Austrian German co production "I'm Crazy for the Piano" tells the story of the pursuit of perfect sound quality. The main characters in the story are world-renowned pianists Lang Lang, Mitsuko Uchida, Alfred Brendel, and others. They are all willing to work with Stefan Knuepfer, a famous Viennese piano tuner. Stefan Knuepfer can hear the breath of tones. He does not use visible tools, but relies on his hands and ears, as well as his excessive attention to detail, to achieve this effect. The film documents the search for perfect sound quality, from the secrets inside the piano to the entire concert hall.
