Description
Plot Summary
The peaceful and beautiful girl Mara (played by Evan Rachel Wood) and her companion Sean (played by Justin Long) on the planet Teruo suddenly encounter an Earth warship during a gliding competition game. The kind-hearted Teruo people believe that a god has descended, but are actually captured, including Mara's father. Marla piloted a human fighter jet into a wind tunnel, but kindly rescued Lieutenant Jim (played by Luke Wilson) and the robot Kitty (played by David Cross). In order to save her father, Mara helped Jim fix the parts of the fighter jet and entered the human warship with Jim and Gitty, only to discover that General Hamel (played by Brian Cox) was determined to occupy Teruo, modify the atmosphere, and kill all Teruo creatures. A major battle is inevitable, and the secrets of Teruo Star's past have finally been revealed... This film won the Best Animated Film Award at the 2008 Ottawa International Animated Film Festival in Canada.
