Plot Summary

In middle age, Anne (played by Kristen Wiig) still achieves nothing and lives aimlessly. My long-time boyfriend only sees her as a lover and has no intention of starting a family with her. At this moment, Anne's friend Lillian (played by Maya Rudolph) suddenly got married and invited several female friends, including her, to form a bridesmaid group. Helen (played by Rose Byrne), a member of the bridesmaid group, has a strong and versatile family background, and is dedicated to creating a luxurious wedding for Lillian. Anne was dissatisfied with Helen's leadership in the wedding preparations and constantly confronted her, trying to express her deep friendship to Lillian.
