Description
Plot Summary
As the brilliant sun sets, the curtain of New Year's Eve slowly unfolds. In this night that should have been filled with hope and warmth, there is still a group of people trapped in their own troubles. Time Square show host Morgan (played by Hillary Swank) is nervously doing the final rehearsal; Duo Yi (played by Sarah Jessica Parker) is having a quarrel with her daughter Hailey (played by Abigail Breslin) who insists on spending New Year's Eve with her boyfriend; Cartoonist Randy (played by Ashton Kutcher) is still immersed in the frustration of being dumped by his ex girlfriend, and New Year's Eve only makes him more irritable; And poor Harris (played by Robert De Niro) is already in the late stages of cancer, hoping to see the last New Year's ball drop ceremony in Times Square... Like many troubled New Yorkers, they are busy in their small seats, but they don't have time to open their eyes and see that the blessings of the New Year have quietly arrived
