Plot Summary

In the early 1990s, with the dissolution of the Soviet Union, the situation in the East and West underwent significant changes. Countries that were originally dependent on the Soviet system became independent one after another, with the East Slavic Republic being particularly noteworthy. The wealthy class and government officials colluded, and the oppressed and exploited lower class people rose up in rebellion, engaging in a tug of war with the government that lasted for over a decade. In this turbulent era of frequent internal strife and raging wars, rumors of "monsters appearing on the battlefield" have also begun to spread in the community. To prevent the threat from spreading, the United States sent Leon S. Kennedy to infiltrate East Slavic for investigation. However, midway through the mission, the US suddenly announced the cancellation of the mission, and Leo, who refused to retreat, stayed alone and was accidentally kidnapped by anti-government forces.
