Description
Plot Summary
The film mainly focuses on the emotional entanglement between Hemingway and his third wife, Gaelhorn. Cliff Owen plays Ernest Hemingway, while Nicole Kidman plays his wife and famous war correspondent Martha Gaelhorn. Hemingway met Martha Gellhorn in 1936 at a small pub called Key West. They got married in 1940 and wrote his masterpiece "For Whom the Bell Tolls" during their honeymoon in Europe. However, both of them were focused on their own careers as journalists, and their frequent separation led to their divorce in 1945.
