Description
Plot Summary
The film is adapted from real events and tells the story of a group of Danes led by the Phil family who rebelled against Nazi rule during the German occupation of Denmark during World War II. They paid the price of blood and life for this, and also left a huge spiritual wealth for the Danes. After its release in Denmark in 2012, the film broke records by attracting 1.2 million viewers, surpassing numerous Hollywood blockbusters to become the box office champion of the year. Since 1976, only 12 Danish films have managed to break through the box office record of 750000, and this film is the most recent one.
