Plot Summary
At the end of the 21st century, human technology has become highly advanced, and cloning technology and space travel have long been realized, no longer just a dream. At the same time, many scientists are still tirelessly pursuing the secrets and truths of human origins. Through the investigation and comparison of many ancient civilizations, scientists Elizabeth Shaw (Noomi Rapace) and Charlie Holloway (Logan Marshall Green) have discovered that humans may have been created by aliens from a distant galaxy. With funding from Weyland Corporation, they traveled to the unknown planet aboard the spacecraft Prometheus, led by Vicks (Charlize Theron). After conducting local investigations, the idea of Earthlings has been successfully confirmed. But their reckless exploration of the 'secrets of the gods' also led them into an abyss of eternal destruction
