Plot Summary

The story takes place in a retirement home specifically open to retired opera actors, where Villefort (played by Billy Connolly), Reggie (played by Tom Courtenay), and Sisi (played by Pauline Collins) are the star residents. Every year, these three outstanding singers raise funds from society through their trio to maintain the operation of the nursing home. Although the scale of the nursing home is not large, every elderly person can find happiness and peace there. The appearance of Jane (played by Maggie Smith) disrupted everyone's peaceful life. This proud and combative woman is a well-known singer in the opera industry, and also Reggie's ex-wife. Due to the pressure of life, Jane had no choice but to move into this nursing home, and the presence of her ex husband Reggie made her even more indignant. Due to Jane's addition, the trio became a quartet, but the rehearsal effect did not improve with the addition of a skilled singer, and troubles and disputes followed one after another.
