Description
Plot Summary
Jim Havkins (Toby Regbo) and his mother (Shirley Henderson) run a small business in the countryside. One day, the hotel receives a frightened and alcoholic pirate sailor named Billy (played by David Harewood), who was once under the notorious pirate leader Captain Flint (played by Donald Sutherland). Flint was cruel and greedy, holding a map of a treasure trove in his hand. After his death, the most loyal Billy seemed to have mastered the map, and he became the target that all pirates were eager to find. Jim found a treasure map from the dead Billy and took a boat with local friends to the Treasure Island, which was filled with countless treasures. At the same time, evil pirates dress up and board their ships, ready to seize coveted treasures at any moment... This film is adapted from the original work of the same name by British author Robert Louis Stevenson.
