Plot Summary

The films "Love Before Dawn" and "Love At Sunset", which are revered by fans as the epitome of love, have finally welcomed their third installment, "Love Before Midnight". In the first installment, American youth Jesse (played by Ethan Hawke) meets French girl Celine (played by Julie Delpy) by train and they spend an unforgettable night in Vienna; In the second installment 9 years later, Jesse has become a writer, and his novel reunites him with Celine in Paris, where they reunite before sunset. Now another 9 years have passed, Jesse and Celine have lived together and have twin daughters, gaining more insights into life and love. Love Before Midnight "captures their last day of vacation on a small island in southern Peloponnese, Greece. Director Richard Linklater and the two lead actors are like going on a nine-year date with a fan.
