Plot Summary

Once upon a time, the giants in the clouds relied on the Heavenly Peas to reach the earth, wreaking havoc and devouring humanity, causing endless harm. Thanks to the brave and resourceful King Eric who drove the giant back to his hometown, the legend of the giant has become more and more popular since then. Jack (played by Nicholas Hoult), a young man from a poor family deeply attracted by the stories of giants since childhood, goes to the city to buy horses. He accidentally encounters a monk who is being chased by the Royal Guard, and in a panic, he exchanges his horse for a pod in their hand. When night falls, rainstorm comes suddenly. Princess Isabel (Eleanor Tomlinson), who is unwilling to give her life's happiness to others, runs away in disorder and turns around to Jack's house to take shelter from the rain. As they were chatting, the bean pods soaked in rainwater suddenly sprouted, and the stems grew wildly, reaching the sky and carrying the princess trapped in the house into the clouds.
