Description

Plot Summary

The protagonist of the story is a 15-year-old girl named Adele (played by Ad è le Exarchopoulos), who has a handsome classmate boyfriend named Thomas (played by Jeremie Lahuerte), but Thomas fails to enter her heart. After unexpectedly encountering a beautiful blue haired girl named Emma (played by L é a Seydoux) on the street, she experienced the pounding heart of a deer for the first time. And one night, Adele walked nervously into a gay bar and found Emma waiting for her there. The girls' closeness to each other made Adele's adolescence complicated Adele's Life "is adapted from the erotic comic" Blue is the Warmest Color "by French author Julie Marlowe, telling the story of Adele's passionate same-sex love. The 3-hour film is long and not boring, full of various erotic elements, and surprisingly bold in terms of sexual content. The most valuable aspect of the film is that it does not speculate on homosexuality as a hot topic, but instead uses same-sex love as a carrier to express the most beautiful and sad first love feelings of humanity. The protagonist's journey from discovering their sexual orientation, to finding true love step by step, and then losing their loved one step by step, is like a blooming flower returning to its original state, leaving the audience mesmerized. Director Abdai Kossih was born in Tunisia and has been nominated for the Venice Golden Lion Award three times, with "Millet and Mullet" winning the Jury Prize. He is passionate about portraying the lives of French foreign youth and their self search for identity, and is a creative director who has consistently maintained a high level of excellence. In 2013, he was nominated for Cannes for the first time. Adele's Life "won the Palme d'Or at the 66th Cannes Film Festival
