Description
Plot Summary
The movie "The Great Wall" tells the story of an elite Chinese army fighting a life and death battle against the world-famous monster Taotie on the Great Wall to defend humanity in ancient times. European mercenary William (played by Matt Damon) and his companion Pero Tovar (played by Pedro Pascal) travel thousands of miles to China to steal gunpowder formulas and unexpectedly discover that the Great Wall was built to resist the once-in-60-year-old gluttony. The Great Wall has numerous internal mechanisms, resembling a 'land-based aircraft carrier', guarded by the Shadowless Forbidden Army for generations. Here, William witnessed the brutality of the gluttons, as well as the elite and brave of the Shadowless Forbidden Army. Moved by the trust and sacrifice among these warriors, he joined the battle to protect humanity without hesitation.
