Description
Plot Summary
Dumas and his son are award-winning orchestral conductors, and as competitors, they carefully maintain their familial bond until a rare selection opportunity almost turns them against each other. The film is adapted from the Israeli film "Footnote", which was nominated for the Cannes Palme d'Or and the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. The story is set in a middle-class family in classical music that better fits the French romantic spirit. Amidst the melodious music played by an orchestra and the overwhelming cultural venues, the film slowly unfolds the disputes and warmth that affect three generations. Ivan Adale and Pierre Aditi, two generations of Caesar Award winners, staged a father son relationship of "separation on the surface but harmony on the surface" on the same stage.
