Description
Plot Summary
New immigrants from Hunan, Ziyuan and his sister Zique, grew up in Hong Kong. In addition to facing identity and poverty, they also have a bigger challenge: a father who has been addicted to drugs for years (played by Wu Kangren). Since childhood, my father has been fickle and unpredictable, and often disappears suddenly due to imprisonment, causing the two sisters to be in a state of anxiety for a long time. When they were young, they would still please their father. In middle school, they gained the power of speech and began to resist, struggle, and escape. When I grew up, I thought I could completely break free from my father, but I found out that all the people I liked had the shadow of my father and were related to a childhood memory... The film is adapted from a short story by director Zhu Ziyan. Twenty years of father daughter separation depicted in white, recalling the joys and sorrows of the growth of a pair of sisters.
