Description
Plot Summary
The drama consists of eight episodes, depicting the crucial seven days of panic after the nuclear disaster in Japan. From the perspectives of the government, enterprises, and the on-site personnel who took risks, the drama uses rigorous data collection to truthfully reconstruct the incident and attempt to answer a question: "What exactly happened that day?" On the afternoon of March 11, 2011, a magnitude 9 earthquake occurred in Kurihara City, Miyagi Prefecture, Japan, with the highest intensity reaching 7. The area 130 kilometers away from the Sanriku Coast was severely damaged. Several islands in Japan turned into ruins, and an hour later, a 15 meter high tsunami swept up the sea, instantly engulfing the Fukushima nuclear power plant, but that was just the beginning of a nightmare. This earthquake caused the cooling system of the nuclear power plant to malfunction, posing a great danger and causing the situation to completely spiral out of control.
