Plot Summary

In recent years, Danny Collins (Al Pacino), the best legendary rock musician of the 1970s in Pacino, was experiencing a low point in his life when his agent (Christopher Plummer) discovered a letter that had not been delivered in 40 years. The letter was actually written by Beatles lead singer John Lennon to him, who was 19 years old at the time, 40 years ago. This inspired him once again, and he resolutely left his luxurious life and embarked on a journey to find the meaning of life. He also gained true love and long lost creative inspiration during this journey
