Plot Summary

In the near future, the earth will be covered in yellow sand, and basic crops such as wheat and okra will become extinct due to wilt disease. Humans will no longer look up at the stars and indulge in imagination and inspiration like before, but will count down the few remaining scenes under the ravages of sandstorms every day. Former NASA astronaut Cooper (played by Matthew McConaughey) discovers strange gravity phenomena in his daughter Murphy's (played by Mackenzie Foy) study, and soon learns that a former NASA member is secretly carrying out a plan to save humanity in an unknown area. Many years ago, a mysterious wormhole appeared near Saturn, and NASA took the opportunity to send several astronauts to distant galaxies to search for habitable planets. Under the persuasion of Professor Brand (played by Michael Caine), Cooper bid farewell to his daughter and, along with three other expert professors' daughters Emilia Brand (played by Anne Hathaway), Romilly (played by David Gyasi), and Doil (played by Wes Bentley), boarded a spacecraft to explore the three most promising planets currently known. They traveled through the distant galaxy Milky Way, experiencing the vicissitudes of time for one hour and seven years, and glimpsing the magnificence and mystery of unknown planets and black holes.
