Description
Plot Summary
In a martial arts film from the early Republic of China, Yu Tianlong (Wang Yu) was a senior disciple of a martial arts school in a certain town. He developed a grudge with local evil forces for upholding justice and teaching the wicked. The martial arts school was raided by a group of Eastern experts invited by the evil forces. Yu Tianlong survived, but lost one arm and became disabled. He practiced one arm boxing and killed each Eastern expert one by one. Wang Yu became famous at Shaw Brothers for his role in "One Armed Swordsman". After leaving Shaw Brothers, he continued to use the residual value of "one armed" to change "knife" to "fist", and continued to film three or four films related to "one armed". "One Armed Fist King" is a martial arts film he made in the early Republic of China with "one armed" as the theme after leaving Shaw Brothers. The film was shot by Wang Yu for Jiahe in Taiwan, and the actors used were Taiwanese, including Ma Ji, who had won the Best Supporting Actor of Golden Horse, Tian Ye, Xue Han, and other hard line actors in Taiwan, as well as Long Fei, a Taiwanese martial arts star who was also known as Zhou Xingui, and famous Taiwanese martial artists such as Shan Mao, Su Zhenping, and Xie Xing. These people later cooperated with Wang Yu many times. As a martial arts actor, Wang Yu is good at martial arts. As a director, Wang Yu also has some skills in shooting martial arts scenes. After all, he is also Zhang Che's favorite disciple. He pays more attention to the atmosphere rendering and novelty of action design of martial arts scenes. In "One armed Boxing King", he put several martial arts scenes in different places, such as martial arts schools, barns, teahouses and valleys. In addition to Chinese martial arts, he also showed the audience new exotic martial arts types, such as Japanese karate, Xizang Tantrism, Korean taekwondo and Indian yoga. At the same time, he inherited Zhang Che's bloody and violent style and fought repeatedly Zhongdu is very cruel and bloody. There are one-on-one fights and dozens of scuffles. The story is as usual, but the martial arts scenes are wonderful, and the actors who play in the film are basically brought into play, Especially the final battle with Long Fei in the valley pushed the film to a climax.
