Description
Plot Summary
The story takes place in Germany in 1936, when the 11th Olympic Games were held in Berlin, Germany. George (played by Jean Paul Belmondo) is a boxing coach from France. Despite his deep hatred for the brutal rule of fascism, he can only compromise due to the situation. George once served as a pilot in World War I, and during intense combat, he met a German pilot named Gantt (played by Frank Hoffmann), and the two developed a sincere friendship. At the Olympics, George and Gantt reunited, and their friendship was not tainted by the passage of time. By chance, George and Gantt met a Jewish boy whose tragic situation left the two men deeply saddened. They decided to join forces and do their best to send the boy and his family abroad.
