Plot Summary

At the age of thirty, Abo (played by Chow Yun fat) is kind-hearted, but unfortunately has achieved nothing in his career. He has been relying on his cousin Jin Hua (played by Ye Dexian), who is obsessed with Maoshan Taoism, for many years, with only a deaf and mute former martial arts brother named "Six Feet Three" following him. One day, Abao found a plea for help from a female ghost named Wei Xiaodie (played by Zhong Chuhong) in an old piece of furniture. He devoted three years of his life to marrying Xiaodie as a ghost couple to help her break free from the shackles of her vaginal marriage. Wei Xiaodie returned to Yangshi to repay her kindness, but was misunderstood by Abao as a mainland girl in distress and rescued again. Abao's girlfriend Ami (played by Wang Xiaofeng) is tired of the hardships of life and frequently cheats. Finally, she abandons Abao and goes. Xiaodie appears to comfort Abao, filling her emotional gap. She sees through Xiaodie's identity as a female ghost and uses Golden Flower magic to catch ghosts. However, she is finally moved by Xiaodie's sincerity and helps her extend her stay in the mortal world. After leaving Abao, Ami's life was not satisfactory. She demanded to reconcile but was rejected by Abao. She then committed suicide in anger and turned into a vengeful ghost
