Description
Plot Summary
Forrest Gump (played by Tom Hanks) was born shortly after the end of World War II in a small, isolated town in southern Alabama, USA. He was born with a congenital intellectual disability and had an IQ of only 75. However, his mother was a strong willed woman who often encouraged Forrest Gump to be "stupid" and urged him to strive for self-improvement. Like an ordinary child, Forrest Gump goes to school and meets his lifelong friend and beloved Jenny (played by Robin Wright Pan). With the love and care of Jenny and his mother, Forrest starts his life of non-stop running with the "flying legs" given by God. Forrest Gump became a football superstar, Vietnam War hero, table tennis diplomat, and billionaire, but he never forgot Jenny. Several hurried reunions and farewells deepened Forrest Gump's longing. One day, Forrest Gump received a letter from Jenny, and they finally met again
