Plot Summary

Female student Valentine (played by Ir è ne Jacob) is a part-time model with a boyfriend who is far away in the UK. Although she cherishes this relationship very much, she cannot stop her boyfriend's suspicion of her. Retired judge (played by Jean Louis Trintignant) experienced a deep emotional trauma when he was young, and his lover's betrayal made him no longer believe in this world. The only pleasure is eavesdropping on neighbors' phones and seeing how people are full of deception. After getting to know Valentine, his emotions that had been frozen for many years began to melt.
