Plot Summary

Zhao Gangsheng (played by Leslie Cheung), tired of the underworld life, wants to wash his hands and go to Canada to pursue his idol Momo Yamaguchi. However, his chosen immigration route is to take the chef exam at a Canadian hotel. He has no knowledge of cooking and ultimately suffers a disastrous defeat due to cheating. One day, Zhao Gangsheng met culinary master Long Kunbao (played by Zhao Wenzhuo) in a restaurant. Long Kunbao guided him to find his old acquaintance, Mr. Ou (played by Luo Jiaying) from Manhan Building, to learn. Unexpectedly, Mr. Ou made things difficult for him and eventually kicked him out.
