Description

Plot Summary

Jewish youth Guido (Roberto Bernini) meets beautiful female teacher Dora (Nicoletta Braski), and he politely bows to Dora, saying, "Good morning, Princess. After going through many comical twists and turns, fate fulfilled people's wishes, and the two lived happily ever after together. However, the good times did not last long. Under the fascist regime, Guido and his son were forcibly sent to Jewish concentration camps. Although Dora did not have Jewish blood, she resolutely traveled together and was separated from her husband and son and imprisoned in a concentration camp. The clever and optimistic Guido deceived his son that this was just a game, and the prize was a big tank. His son lived happily and naively in the shadow of the Nazis. Despite the difficult and lonely life in the concentration camp, Guido still brought a lot of happiness to others. He even took the opportunity to greet his wife on the Nazi radio, saying, "Good morning! Princess!" The fascist regime was about to collapse, and the Nazi concentration camp would soon undergo its final cleanup. How should Guido's game for his son end? Can their family safely get through this dark era?
