Plot Summary

Lincoln (played by Denzel Washington) was paralyzed due to his official duties. He was once a renowned detective who solved countless cases, but since he became paralyzed, he has closed himself off. This time, he was invited by the New York police to help with a mysterious murder case. At first, Lincoln refused the invitation, but after seeing the case, he became emotional about it. There has been a mysterious dismemberment case in New York recently, and the perpetrator deliberately left evidence to challenge the police. Patrol officer Emilia (played by Angelina Jolie) discovers a dismembered body during her final patrol, but when she makes a series of bold speculations, her colleagues refuse to pay attention to her, thinking she is just an unknown patrol officer. But Emilia's sensitivity and bravery were appreciated by Lincoln, who demanded to break through the case with this novice.
