Plot Summary

The story takes place in the 17th century, in the Caribbean Sea where pirates are said to be most active. The witty and charming Jack Sparrow (played by Johnny Depp) is a pirate active in the Caribbean Sea, owning his own pirate ship, the Black Pearl. For him, the most comfortable life is driving the "Black Pearl" on the Caribbean Sea, freely plundering passing ships. Unfortunately, his enemy, the cunning Captain Barbarossa (played by Jeffrey Rush), stole his "Black Pearl". Barbossa is a notorious villain who committed all sorts of crimes. After robbing Jack of the Black Pearl, he became even more brazen and domineering in the Caribbean Sea, temporarily becoming the hegemon of the entire Caribbean. Once, Barbossa and his group attacked the town of Port Royal and kidnapped the governor's daughter Elizabeth Swan (played by Keira Knightley) and Elizabeth's childhood sweetheart blacksmith apprentice Wiltner (played by Orlando Bloom). They tried their best to rescue Captain Jack from prison and stole the fastest "Intercept" warship from the British Royal Fleet, which quickly chased after the "Black Pearl". During the fight, Will and Jack discovered that Barbarossa and his pirates were carrying spells, and on every moonlit night, they transformed into undead skeletons, with Elizabeth being the key to unlocking the spells.
