Description
Plot Summary
In the 1970s, a self proclaimed "Twelve Palaces" serial killer emerged in San Francisco. After killing someone, he sent a letter to the media, leaving a password and clues, and provoked the police. Multiple coincidences led to a stalemate in the case, and the police gradually became helpless. The serial murder case also caught the attention of reporters Robert (played by Jack Granhaal) and Paul (played by Robert Downey Jr.) from the San Francisco Chronicle. With the help of police officer David (played by Mark Puffalo), they began investigating this series of serial murders. While fighting against the "Twelve Palace" killers, their personal lives also faced great challenges.
