Description
Plot Summary
In 2012, as the economic situation in the United States deteriorated and crime rates skyrocketed, increasingly privatized prisons resorted to any means necessary to make huge profits, giving rise to the "death car" race. Former excellent racing driver Frank (played by Jason Statham) participated in a workers' protest in the factory. However, that night, someone infiltrated his home and killed his wife. Frank was falsely accused and imprisoned as the murderer. Prison warden and organizer of the Death Riders race, Hennessy (played by Joan Allen), demands that Frank replace the masked race car driver, Frankenstein, and promises that as long as Frank wins one more race as Frankenstein, he will be free. Frank and navigator Kath (played by Natalie Martinez) enter a crazy game of driving a modified car and facing death at any moment. However, his absent-minded state leads to a poor start, and Frank faces threats and framing from Hennessy, forcing him to take a risk
