Plot Summary

Ellie (played by Christina Aguilera), a waitress who loves singing and dancing performances, decides to leave her small town and head to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming a star. However, this matter was not so easy from the beginning. Not only was all her accumulation stolen, but she only got a job as a waiter at a comedy club on Sunset Boulevard. Because she didn't have money to pay rent, she had to stay at the home of Jack, a highly creative bartender (played by Cam Gigandet). Club owner Tess (played by Cher) is a cold faced but warm-hearted woman who is facing the dilemma of huge debts and the club being acquired. At Ellie's repeated requests, Tess ultimately decides to give her the opportunity to take the stage. Her outstanding talent quickly sets Ellie apart from many actresses and makes her the top dancer of the entire club. The club has reached a critical moment of life and death, at which point the somewhat famous Ellie begins to face various temptations. In the vortex of emotions and fame, what choices will Ellie ultimately make, and what kind of fate will the club face...
