Plot Summary

Although suffering from heart disease, the parents of young Xiang still neglect to take care of him. In order to prepare for the upcoming surgery, Xiang went to his aunt's house in a remote countryside for recuperation. My aunt's house is located in a quiet jungle, which is a European style villa with a history of over a hundred years. In addition to the aunt and maid Ah Chun living here, there is also a peculiar family of three, the "Borrowing Clan" - the little people Alieti and her parents. They live under the floor of the villa, only a few centimeters tall, and lead an unnoticed life by humans. When encountering daily necessities, they will secretly sneak into the kitchen and borrow them in the quiet of the night. Xiang undoubtedly caught a glimpse of Aliette's figure, wanting to get close to these legendary figures but unknowingly disturbing their lives... This film is adapted from the original work "The Little People Who Borrow Things" by British author Mary Norton and won the Best Animated Feature Award at the 2011 Japan Academy Film Awards.
