Description
Plot Summary
On July 15, 1988, a university was filled with the fervor of its graduates. With this restlessness, the frivolous Dexter (played by Jim Sturgess) crosses through layers of human walls, searching for a beauty to spend this final night of revelry and romance with. He fixed his gaze on Emma (played by Anne Hathaway), a smart girl from an ordinary working-class family. However, after a short exchange, nothing happened between them, yet they were destined to change each other's lives. In the years that followed, the two of them gathered and parted ways as friends and confidants, sharing the ups and downs of life and various insights with each other. Dexter experienced the ups and downs of his career and marriage, while Emma savored the bitterness of life at the bottom. They are close friends who are far away and tightly connected in their hearts, the most sincere yet distant love that is deeply locked in their hearts... This film is adapted from the bestselling novel of the same name by British author David Nicholls.
