Description
Plot Summary
Devil's Island is a small island located in San Francisco Bay, California, USA. It used to have the Devil's Island Federal Prison, which held many well-known convicted criminals. It was abolished in 1963 and is now a famous tourist attraction in San Francisco Bay, along with the Golden Gate Bridge. San Francisco detective Rebecca (played by Sarah Jones) is assigned to a bizarre murder case. The killer's fingerprints belonged to a deceased prisoner named Sylvanae. Government agent Emerson (played by Sam Neill) tries to stop her investigation, but becomes more determined to pursue it. She found Dr. Diego (played by Jorge Garcia), an expert from Devil's Island, and discovered that Sylvanane, who was supposed to be 85 years old, was still the same as before. In the end, Emerson agreed for the two to join the special team and work with technical expert Lucy (Parminder Nagra) to solve the case, revealing a secret: on March 21, 1963, all 302 prisoners on Devil's Island disappeared, and in 2012, they reappeared
