Plot Summary

This film is known as the Swedish version of 007, and the male lead in "A Better World" won the Best Foreign Language Film award at the 83rd Academy Awards. Swedish intelligence officer Carl Hamilton (played by Mikael Persbrandt) infiltrates an international criminal gang that steals advanced GPS guided missiles from Sweden. This group of fugitive mercenaries kidnaps a Swedish weapons technology expert and receives orders from an unidentified client organization to launch a deadly attack. Although Hamilton exposed his identity and escaped the pursuit of the gang, the missiles and experts have both disappeared. Soon after, one of the stolen weapons appeared in a terrorist attack in Somalia, where a peaceful politician was killed. With the promise of the Swedish Prime Minister, the government agreed to hire a private security company to complete the rescue mission, with Hamilton accompanying as an observer for the Swedish government. Obviously, this is an extremely dangerous mission. Hamilton has to track from the barren desert of Somalia to the street battles of Oman, as well as the jungle and watercraft battles of the Stockholm Islands. In the face of national interests, he must go through three challenges that were not present before the fierce battles: land, sea, and air .....
