Plot Summary

Simon Newton (played by James McAvoy) is a senior staff member at Delancy's auction house, who is particularly skilled in defending famous paintings in the face of theft. On this day, a painting by the famous painter Goya titled "Witches in the Air" was being auctioned off, with an estimated value of 25 million pounds. Meanwhile, a gang of thieves led by Franck (Vincent Cassel) is planning to steal this painting. Franck's plan went very smoothly, and Simon was also adept at this scene, quickly packing the painting in a bag and transferring it. Just as Simon was about to deliver the painting to a safe place, Franck appeared and shot Simon in the head, then snatched the painting away. Simon fainted. Upon returning home, Franck was surprised to find that when he opened the bag, he found nothing inside. After Simon woke up, Franck found him and it turned out that Simon was with Franck.
