Plot Summary

I don't know when, but a mysterious woman (played by Scarlett Johansson) appeared on the bleak streets of Scotland. She was dressed in fur, driving a car, and her serious face faintly exuded a captivating charm. She would occasionally strike up conversations with men on the roadside, ask for directions, and occasionally take the men she was interested in with her. She walked towards the dark energy, followed closely by men dominated by desire, but she was completely unaware of the abyss she had entered. Men are like moths drawn to fire, with their bones and blood drained, leaving only empty skin and thin as cicada wings. Until one night, the woman carried an extremely ugly man. He is like a monster, aware of his ugliness and deeply hiding himself. The woman accepted him as usual, but from the next day on, it seemed that she was quietly undergoing a change. She discovered the admirable qualities of this leather bag, enjoying the pleasure of being a woman, but almost forgetting its true face... This film is adapted from a novel by Michel Faber.
